captivated by the idea of teaching others to embrace new varieties and styles of wine, The idea for Wine Protagonist was hatched over a great glass of Cab Franc by Leslie & Randall Ford in 2019.

Leslie Ford

Leslie holds a level two certification from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust. She currently handles all teaching, class creation, and wine curation. She loves sharing the world of wine with friends and strangers alike - often making wine recommendations in the aisles of the grocery store and forcing her girlfriends to blind taste.
Driven by her love of wines of all kinds, Leslie’s mission is to teach others to be wine protagonists while having a great time with wine.

Randall ford

Randall is an oenophile who enjoys most wines, but espcially zesty and funky red varietals - New World, Old World, all appreciated. He has special interest in wine cellar management and enjoys studying new wine releases, wine cellaring times, and expanding his wine collection.
Currently, Randall handles all non-teaching operations at Wine Protagonist.
